NJCO (National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad)
The National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad is designed to introduce young people to the technologies and knowledge they need to become the next generation of cyber professionals. With a certificate accredited by the National Cybersecurity R&D Lab (NCL) and the Centre for Nurturing Computing Excellence (CeNCE), both hosted at the School of Computing, NUS. The NJCO’s outstanding students will have the recognition to pursue their futures at the world's best universities.
Embarking on the path to cybersecurity prowess isn't a swift journey—it demands dedication, guidance, and a mindset primed for innovation. The National Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad (NJCO) is a package of training and contest experience crafted to instill foundational skills in students by imparting to them the basic knowledge in Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is a set of knowledge and skills that involves understanding various aspects of digital security to protect systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches.
Mode of competition: Online
Competition Date: Sunday, 28 September 2025 | 5PM - Late (Sydney Time)
Eligible for Grades: Secondary 1 to JC 2 (Grades 7 to 12)
Entry Requirements: Recommended Silver and above in DrCT 2024
Scholarship Points (SPs): Perfect Score=3points, Gold=2points, Silver=1point, Bronze=0.5point
Awards: Distinction, Credit, Proficency based on NUS Standards
