MMT (Mustang Math Tournament)

Mustang Math [MM] is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of committed high school and college volunteers who are dedicated to promoting a spirit of collaboration among middle school students around the world and piquing their curiosity in mathematics. The MMT Directors run Stanford Math Tournament and Berkeley Math Tournament.  All GMOS and top 3 SASMO winners from each country are awarded SLSP Scholarships to compete. All Silver and  above AMO, SASMO, SMGF winners are invited to compete. Grades 4 to 8. SIMCC has global rights outside of USA only and hence cannot invite USA students to join.

Mode of competition: Online

Competition Date: Sunday, 24 August 2025 | 5PM - Late (Sydney Time) 

Eligible for Grades: Primary 4 to Sec 2 (Grades 4 to 8)

Entry Requirements: Recommended at least Silver in AMO 2024 and SASMO 2025

Scholarship Points (SPs): Perfect Score=3.5points, Gold=2.5points, Silver=1.5points, Bronze=0.75point, OC/PAExS Star=3points, RU/PAExS=2points, 3rd=1point, Team Gold=1point, Team Silver=0.66point, Team Bronze=0.33point 

Awards: Personalized Medallion (Perfect Score), Medal and Certificate for Top 50%, Top 10% Gold, Next 15% Silver, next 25% Bronze, next 20% Honorable Mention. Certificates only for Team Top 10% Gold, 15% Silver, 25% Bronze.
